What we look for in applicants
We want to speak to Technologists who can collaborate with leaders and contributors across the IG Group technology stack, whilst also integrating seamlessly with Design, Quality Assurance, Data Science, and Product Management. Our teams are broken into core platform teams and cross-functional teams.

Mobile Development
We build, create and ideate mobile apps helping hundreds of thousands of people daily to trade and invest anywhere in the world. We have two Mobile teams developing the flagship Android and iOS Trading applications. As part of an Agile/Scrum development team, Developers work with modern technologies for Mobile Frontend and Backend (Kotlin/Swift), as well as Native Mobile that are critical to our client-facing trading platform.

Web Development
Web development teams (there are several in IG) give Developers the chance to work with new web technologies, the middleware supporting it and various SEO solutions with the aim of expanding our websites at scale capability. We work across a variety of technologies, including JavaScript, Bamboo/Jenkins, ReactJS design, RESTful web services and visual regression.

Backend Development
We are passionate about delivering the best solutions for high-quality and high-performing financial services that heavily rely on high-throughput low-latency trading systems. Our Developer positions offer the opportunity to work with critical backend technologies that include: Java, C++, REST, AMQ, Kafka, JMS and Spring Boot. Use of standard Agile development life cycle to: Analysis, Design, Unit Testing and Release of code.

Where you’ll work
As part of our hybrid working environment, you’ll split your time between home and the office but will require on average two days a week in the London office to collaborate with colleagues and the wider Tech Team.

Come to work in a comfortable, state-of-the-art office containing everything you need to succeed. With access to agile and ergonomic workstations designed to support our roles. Our spacious, open-plan offices provide a modern, dynamic setting for you to excel. You can also make use of the roof terrace with fabulous views across the Thames and London.
